Advocate Spot-On for is a Prescription Only Medication (POM-V) treatment used for cats suffering from, or at risk from, mixed parasitic infections.
Advocate kills fleas and prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks. Advocate also treats ear mites, gastrointestinal roundworms, hookworms, notoedric mange, lungworm and prevents heartworm.
Advocate is usually given monthly and can help in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
Advocate Spot-On is applied to the animal by parting the fur on the neck, at the base of the skull, and squeezing the contents of the pipette onto the skin.
Contraindications:
- Do not use in kittens less than 9 weeks old
- Do not use large cat Advocate on ferrets, dogs or canaries
