Metacam® 0.5 mg/ml oral suspension for cats and guinea pigs is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is a type of painkiller used to reduce pain and inflammation.
It can be used in cats for both chronic (long-term) musculoskeletal conditions, such as arthritis, and acute (sudden and short-lived) musculoskeletal disorders, such as an injury.
It can also be used to reduce mild to moderate post-operative pain and inflammation following surgical procedures in cats such as soft tissue surgery in cats and guinea pigs and orthopaedic surgery in cats.
Metacam® 0.5 mg/ml oral suspension for cats and guinea pigs is available in 3 bottle sizes to suit all pet sizes and treatment lengths: 3 ml, 15 ml and 30 ml.
